SPEED
Javaughn is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, and a Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist through the International Sports Sciences Association. He is a former collegiate baseball and track and field athlete and now competes in CrossFit and Ironman events. You can find Javaughn at the gym, helping clients attain their strengths and fitness goals through programs he personally designs. Javaughn helps clients master basic functional movements to improve their strengths and fitness goals and to build a foundation for further gains. He approaches fitness as a lifestyle and relies heavily on the fundamentals of functional training by incorporating movements from the activities of daily life which are unique to each individual. He describes his coaching philosophy as, encouraging his clients to "develop self-empowerment." Javaughn aims for his clients to build confidence by setting challenging goals and devising effective strategies to steadily achieve them.
